Martin Hinsch received his Master's degree in Applied System's Science in 2000. Since then he has done research and software development in various roles in the elds of robotics, theoretical ecology, evolutionary biology and bioinformatics.
He is currently a postdoctoral researcher in the Swarm-Organ project at the John Innes Centre focusing on environmentally induced morphogenesis in robot swarms. His research interests include evolution of behaviour, game theory, emergent phenomena and pattern formation.
